The first thing that came to mind when seeing this drawing was the expressions in the character's faces. Which to me really says a lot since one of them is wearing a Helmet, but Celestia's face is clear as day. This comes to show the importance of posture and body language since through that the Knight is able to reflect an emotion and (kind of) a personality.
The bodies feel very natural, Celestia seems like a tall, slightly voluptuous woman and the Knight looks like a dude that has a big body complexion but isn't too muscular himself. The length and width of Celestia's legs also feels very appropriate, if anything her arms are a little too skinny. The position of both of their bodies, conjoined with lightning and relative size, makes it very easy to imagine motion in the picture with this.
My complaints would be with the colouring in the characters; it could have been more polished. The sunset behind, however, is masterfully done and it is basically nothing but colouring.
Overall I really like the concept and the execution. It feels very natural and with a lot of vision behind it, though it could stand to be slightly more polished. It is a very good idea for a drawing and it's well done.
watched button has been clicked simply because of this pic. even if your art was shit (it's not) but if it was I would still click the watch button for this image alone. Celestia is best pony. All praise Sunnybuns!
Solaire was someone that I was always happy to see. A kind and friendly guy who had a goal, he wanted to find his own sun. He would even gladly help you out if you were having trouble. Solaire was there for me when I fought the Bellfry Gargoyles and O&S. I couldn't let him go insane. I grew an attachment to him. He was one of the few people in Lordran that I could call friend.
